Double Action C is time released and rapid release. It is formulated to release 50% of the Vitamin C rapidly and 50% gradually over a period of 8 hours. Just what you need to fight colds, flu and related illnesses. It contains 500 mg of Vitamin C. This water –soluble vitamin is necessary for normal growth and development. It is required for the growth and repair of tissues in all parts of your body. Vitamin C is essential for the healing of wounds, and for repair and maintenance of cartilage, bones, and teeth.
It is an antioxidant. It helps reduce the damage to the body caused by toxic chemicals and pollinates such as cigarette smoke.
The body does not manufacture Vitamin C on its own, nor does it store it. It is important to include Vitamin C in your daily diet. Because Vitamin C is water soluble any left leaves the body daily through urine.
